I’ve heard some say that the hardest part of any endeavor is getting started. For the most part, I agree. Once you sit yourself down and get started, something hidden inside of you takes over. It says, “Hey, this isn’t so bad. Let’s keep going. Let’s do this.” I tell that to my students all the time. Sometimes they actually believe me and get things done. Sometimes I believe myself and get things done, too!

This blog is just one component of a multi-faceted website. Right now it’s in its early stages, but eventually this site will become a resource for natural science education and conservation enthusiasts, and a portfolio of work from yours truly.
